Shri. Dashrath Tambhale, Director, ATMA, Agril. Commissionerate, Pune visited KVK Center (VIDATA) Washim today. He, emphasised the need for a non-chemical natural farming system due to the decline in soil health and fertility caused by the discriminate use of chemical inputs. Shri. Tambhale added that the Indian government has launched a national mission to promote natural farming practices in farmers' fields.
Shri. Arif Shah, District SAO, Dr.R.L.Kale, KVK Head & Senior Scientists and Shri. Sanjay Chatarmal, SDAO, were present during the visit.
Field staff, TAO of six blocks, Block Technology Manager (BTM) Project staff of POcRA and SMART scheme attended the program.
