Tenyi Vo Conservation Centre, ICAR-AICRP on pig, Nagaland Centre, NU-SAS, Medziphema Campus organized ‘Tenyi Vo Pig Management training-cum-inputs Distribution Programme” under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) today at the NU-SAS, Medziphema Campus.
Prof. M. Catherine Rutsa, Incharge, Pig Project, acknowledged the participant's keen interest towards Tenyi Vo pig breeding in Nagaland.
Prof. Nizamuddin, HoD, Department of Livestock Production and Management, urged further contributions towards Tenyi Vo breeding and increasing the indigenous breed population in Nagaland.
Input distributions like vaccine carrier, worm medicine, first aid drugs, gum boots, hammer and pig feeds were given out to all the 95 Schedule Tribe pig farmers participants.
Two breeding Tenyi Vo males funded by ICAR- NRC on Mithun, Jharnapani, were also gifted to two Tenyi Vo pig breeders of Medziphema and Nachama village.
