Training on Jute Spinning Machinery Operation organised

A training Programme on ‘Jute Spinning Machinery Operation’ was organised by ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology, Kolkata under the scheduled caste sub-plan scheme in association with Dhanyaganga KVK, RKMA, Saragachi, Murshidabad from 27th January-26th February 2025. The valedictory function of the one-month training programme was organised on 26th February 2025. The programme empowered participants with and hands-on experience required for operating modern jute spinning machinery, contributing to skill development and the advancement of the jute industry.

 

Dr N. C. Patel, Former Vice-Chancellor, Anand Agricultural University, Gujarat and Chairman, RAC, and Dr K. Narsaiah, Assistant Director General (PE), SMD (AE), ICAR and member RAC, graced in hybrid mode.

Dr D. B. Shakyawar, Director, ICAR-NINFET, briefed the importance of mini-spinning machinery for the advancement of the jute industry
