Training on Vigilance Perspectives concluded

ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad organised a three-day training programme on ‘Vigilance Perspectives for ICAR Officers’ from 18th-20th October 2023.

The programme was attended by 35 Assistant Administrative Officers and Section Officers, representing 32 ICAR institutions and Head Quarters. The primary objective of this training programme is to sensitize and develop the perspectives of vigilance among functionaries of ICAR institutions.

Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, NAARM and president of the function categorically indicated that preventive vigilance is of utmost importance in curbing corruption. He also cautioned the participants on three important aspects – RPF (Recruitment, Procurement and Finance).

Dr. G. Venkateshwarlu, Joint Director in his valedictory address requested the participants to reflect on the key learnings and implement the best practices in enhancing the efficiency of the ICAR.

Shri. Rajeev Lal, Joint Secretary (Admn.) emphasised on the need for capacity building of administrative functionaries at regular intervals and requested to uphold the spirit of the campaign ‘Say no to corruption; commit to the Nation’ during the inaugural session.
