Vigilance Awareness week 2022 organized by ICAR-CRIDA, Hyderabad concludes

Vigilance Awareness Week observed by ICAR- Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad from 31st October to 6th November 2022 concluded here today.

Various activities and programmes were taken up in the Institute during this week.

The employees of ICAR-CRIDA took Integrity Pledge on 31st October.

Lectures on ‘Code of Conduct of a public servant’ and ‘Vigilance awareness with reference to financial matters’ were delivered to sensitized Officers on various responsibilities to perform / to clear the pending activities.

As a part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022, a lecture competition, Rangoli competition, essay writing competition and a Quiz competition on the theme ‘corruption-free India for a developed nation’ were conducted.

An “Awareness Gram Sabha” was held for dissemination of awareness in Gram Panchayat to sensitize the citizens, farmers, and other stakeholders on the ill effects of corruption in the KVK Village Gaddimallaiah guda, Yacharam Mandal, Rangareddy District.

About 50 farmers including several extension workers participated in the Gram Sabha. Scientists interacted with farmers and explained about the importance of being aware of vigilance with the help of posters in the local language Telugu, which were displayed during the meeting.

Dr. K.Sammi Reddy, In-charge Director, ICAR-CRIDA, in the concluding session, briefed about  the importance of being vigilant in day-to-day official activities and emphasized that this has to be observed and inculcated not only for this week and it must be throughout the year and on 365 days

 Dr.M.Srinivasa Rao, Vigilance Officer, ICAR CRIDA, presented the various activities undertaken during the week and urged the employees to adopt several preventive vigilance measures to avoid irregularities in the official procedures.
