Virtual Alumni Meet - 2021 “वारिSmriti’21” organized

The ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai, Maharashtra under the aegis of the ICAR-National Agricultural Higher Education Project organized a Virtual Alumni Meet on “वारिSmriti’21: सफलता की परम्परा” from 24th 25th July, 2021.

In his inaugural address, Dr R.C. Agrawal, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Education), ICAR & National Director, ICAR-National Agricultural Higher Education Project released the updated Alumni Directory and a Souvenir during the inaugural programme.

Dr. Joykrushna Jena, Deputy Director General (Fisheries Science), ICAR marked his presence as the Chief Guest of the valedictory session.

Dr. Gopal Krishna, Director & Vice-Chancellor, ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai, Maharashtra applauded the Alumni for their presence as the Ambassadors of ICAR-CIFE across the world.

Dr. N.P. Sahu, Joint Director, ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai, Maharashtra urged the students for establishing a strong network with the Alumni for harnessing the maximum benefits.

Around 8 Alumni of the Institute, who established themselves in the various sectors, shared their success stories with the students.

The Meeting was aimed at linking the students with the ICAR-CIFE Alumni and delineating the scope and opportunities of the sector from their experience.

A total of 573 participants attended the meeting.
