The Virtual Training Programme on “Feed and Fertility Management” organized by the ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Bengaluru, Karnataka from 21st January to 20th February, 2021 concluded today.

Dr. Manjunath S. Palegar, Additional Director along with Dr. P. Srinivas, Joint Director, Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Government of Karnataka also marked their presence during the valedictory ceremony of the month-long programme.
In his address, Dr. Raghavendra Bhatta, Director, ICAR-NIANP, Bengaluru, Karnataka outlined the main objective of the programme.
The Android Version of Ration Balancing Software was demonstrated and shared to multiple users during the occasion.
The Guest lectures by eminent speakers on Calf Management and Polyherbal approaches to overcome the reproductive disorders were delivered during the occasion.
The advanced reproductive technologies for small ruminants and fertility improvement were also presented in the programme.
The programme registered a total participation by 44 Field Veterinary Officers (including 9 Female) from the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Government of Karnataka.
