Virtual Training Programme on “Fodder Production, Utilization and Conservation Technologies for the Gaushalas of the country” organized

The two-day Training Programme on “Fodder Production, Utilization and Conservation Technologies for the Gaushalas of the country” was organized by the ICAR-Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh from 11th to 12th July, 2022.

Dr. Amaresh Chandra, Director, ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi highlighted the importance and responsibilities of Gaushalas in the country. He also urged the participants for adopting the scientific practices of fodder production.

The programme was aimed at empowering the Gaushala Workers on the scientific techniques of fodder production, its conservation and utilization to make them self-reliant in terms of forage security.

More than 60 participants from the various States like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh participated in the programme.
