Entrepreneurship Orientation Programme on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants concludes

The 15-day “Virtual Entrepreneurship Orientation Programme on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (EOPMAP)” organized by the Directorate of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research (DMAPR), Anand, Gujarat in association with its Medi-Hub Agribusiness Incubation (ABI) Centre from 17th August to 2nd September, 2020 concluded today.

In his valedictory address, Dr. Satyajit Roy, Director, ICAR-DMAPR, Anand, Gujarat emphasized on the importance of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAP) under the COVID-19 Pandemics situation. Dr. Roy accentuated on the various opportunities for business development in the MAPs. He also highlighted the importance of quality planting materials, organic certification, quality certifications, such as, GAP, GMP and GCP in MAPs for business development.

The main objective of the EOPMAP was to accelerate the Start-Ups / business development in the field of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.

Over 40 participants having novel ideas in the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants participated in the virtual meeting.
