Virtual Training Programme on “Design Thinking in Research Project Formulation and Implementation” concludes at ICAR-NAARM

The Virtual Training Programme on “Design Thinking in Research Project Formulation and Implementation” organized by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research and Management, Hyderabad from 24th to 29th August, 2020 concluded today.

In his valedictory address, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad complemented the Program Directors for designing the novel training programme addressing a contemporary aspect of research management and delivering the same creatively taking the technology’s leverage.

The participants were introduced with the concept of Design Thinking and its use in various aspects related to the research management. Innovative exercises were designed to instill DT perspectives among the participants in research problem identification, prioritization of research solutions and research concept development.

About 45 Agricultural Researchers, including 13 females, representing 24 Agricultural Research disciplines from 15 ICAR Institutions and 12 Agricultural Universities virtually participated in the programme.
