The ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology, Kolkata organized a five-day Hands-on-Training Programme on “Bleaching and Dyeing of Natural Fibres” from 8th to 12th November, 2021.
In his address, Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director, ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata outlined the sustainable and eco-friendly processing technologies developed by the Institute and their importance in creating the enterprises. He also stressed on joint collaboration between the Entrepreneurs and Institute for the dissemination of the technologies.
Shri Suresh Kumar, CAO, ICAR-Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Avikanagar, Rajasthan & Shri Amitabh Singh, SFAO, ICAR, New Delhi marked their presence as the Guests of Honor during the Closing-cum-Certificate Distribution Ceremony.
A total of 13 Trainees from the different Districts of West Bengal associated with Crafts Work participated in the programme.
