ICAR-CIAE organized Training on Automobile Maintenance, Road Safety and Behavioural Skills

22nd – 27th August 2022, Bhopal

ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal organized a ICAR sponsored training programme on “Automobile Maintenance, Road Safety and Behavioural Skills” for regular drivers in technical grade in offline mode during August 22-27, 2022.

The aim of the programme was to make the participants aware of new knowledge of the vehicle materials, advanced technologies in vehicles, traffic rules, safety measures, vehicle insurance system, first-aid management and upgaring behavioural & communicaton skills.

Dr. Anil Kumar Rai, ADG (ICT) ICAR, New Delhi, Chief Guest of the valedictory session on 26th August,   highlighted the need of such training programmes, keeping in view, the rapid changing technologies in vehicle.

Dr. C. R. Mehta,  Director, ICAR-CIAE was the Chairperson of the valedictory session. He briefed about  the various training programmes organized by the Institute and highlighetd the importance of drivers’ training programme.

Twenty three (23) participants from 12 ICAR Institutes and its KVKs participated in the training. The states compriesd of Rajasthan, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal
