Agripreneurship Orientation Program (AOP) and Startup Agri Incubation Program (SAIP) inaugurated

Two-month Agripreneurship Orientation Program (AOP) and Startup Agri Incubation Program (SAIP) of ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai RKVY RAFTAAR ABI has been inaugurated here today.

Dr. S K Shukla, Director, ICAR CIRCOT in his inaugural address said that CIRCOT is promoting Agri startups in various platforms like exhibitions, seminars, symposia, etc. He emphasized that startups can make a significant contribution to the Indian economy. He urged the Agri startups to be focused on the refinement of their innovation to improve the commercial viability of products during the two months period to get full funding of RKVY RAFTAAR scheme.

The function was attended by Fifteen (15) Agri startups selected for AOP and SAIP, RAFTAAR Incubation committee members (RIC) and the ICAR-CIRCOT R-ABI team.

During this program, the selected startups introduced their innovation. RIC members emphasized on the sustainability of their Agri startup business and their product and also more employment generation and farmers benefit.
