a-IDEA (Association for Innovation Development of Entrepreneurship in Agriculture), ICAR- National Academy of Agriculture and Research Management, Hyderabad celebrated National Startup Day today through hybrid mode. The objective of the program was to celebrate the Indian Startup Ecosystem as announced by GoI.
The Chief Guest, Shri. Sai Prasad, Group Head, Samunnati Agro Innovation Lab, Hyderabad highlighted futuristic agriculture and the significance of the younger generation in taking ue startups as their profession. He also briefed about the various initiatives of Samunnati, especially, ‘Samaarambh,’ which is a platform that provides solutions to prime challenges faced by startups and benefiting the small hold farmers.
Shri. N. V. Ramana, Advisor, Samunnati, Hyderabad, in his address, stated the importance of an ecosystem for Agriculture Startups. He also urged the startups to focus on new areas of growth where the Farmers will be benefited.
Dr. G. Venkateshwarlu, Vice President, a-IDEA & Joint Director, ICAR-NAARM, in his presidential address, stressed the role of a-IDEA in creating a strong and inclusive ecosystem for innovation.
Earlier, Dr. S. Senthil Vinayagam, CEO, a-IDEA, ICAR-NAARM, in his welcome address highlighted the need to celebrate National Startup Day and also presented the programs and achievements of a-IDEA.
Sixteen startups attended both offline and online modes and shared their innovation in agriculture.
