Work plan of CIP and ICAR extended

The work plan of International Potato Center (CIP) and Indian Council of Agricultural Research has been extended for another 5 year period of 2022-2027.

Dr Himanshu Pathak, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR)   and Dr Oscar Ortiz, Director General, CIP signed the work plan today at Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi.

Dr A. K.  Singh,  Deputy Director General (Horticultural Science) and Dr. Samarendu Mohanty, Asia Regional Director of CIP in New Delhi and other officials from both sides were also present.

Both the sides appreciated the partnership between ICAR and CIP and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the partnership for R&D in potato, sweet potato including germplasm exchange and  conservation and capacity development of ICAR scientists.
