Secretary, DARPG and DPPW, Government of India Reviews the Swachhata Special Compaign 2.0 Activities at KVK, Ranga Reddy District

Shri V. Srinivas, IAS, Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) and DPPW, Govt. of India reviewed the progress of Swachhata Special Campaign 2.0 activities at KVK, Ranga Reddy District which is under administrative control of ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad today. He interacted with the staff members and visited vermi-compost and microbial decomposition units. Shri Srinivas has expressed his satisfaction about the Swachhata activities and appreciated the efforts made at the KVK and CRIDA, Hyderabad.

Dr J. V. Prasad, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Hyderabad briefed about the Swachhata Special Compaign 2.0 activities being carried out at different KVKs of Zone X.

At the outset, Dr. K. Sammi Reddy, Head, Division of Resource Management of ICAR-CRIDA, briefed about the activities carried out at ICAR-CRIDA as well as at KVK Ranga Reddy District during the last one year with special emphasis on the activities undertaken from Till September onwards.

Dr. I. Srinivas, Principal Scientist and Officer In-charge, Hayatanagar Research Farm, CRIDA has presented the Swachhata activities of KVK completed till the date and to be continued up to 31st October 2022. 

 Dr S. S. Balloli, Principal Scientist (Soil Science) and Nodal Officer of Swachh Bharat activities of ICAR-CRIDA presented the highlights of the Swachhta Pakhawada  activities implemented at the Institute and in 12 adopted villages under Mera Goan Mera Gaurav, TSP, and SCSP programmes during 2014 to 2021 and the action plan of the activities planned during Special Swachhata Campaign 2.0.  

Scientists created mass awareness about waste to wealth among the farmers in the villages.
