ICAR Salutes Olympian Saina Nehwal

Ms SAINA NEHWAL has made India proud by winning the OLYMPIC BRONZE Medal in Shuttle Badminton event. She is the younger daughter of Dr Harvir Singh, Principal Scientist (Agricultural Entomology), Directorate of Oilseeds Research, Rajendranagar, ICAR, Hyderabad. The ICAR PARIVAR is proud and elated at this career-best achievement of this steadfast SPORTS WOMAN of 2012. An icon of grit and focus, Saina is an example for the youth. The efforts and intense energy of the family to support Saina in the making of an international SPORTS PERSON are highly appreciable. We salute the Nehwal family for this glorious achievement.
