A workshop on ‘Synergy of Innovation and Incubation in Agri Start-up Ecosystem’ was organized today at ICAR-National Research Centre for Grapes, Pune in collaboration with ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai; ICAR-Directorate of Onion & Garlic Research, Pune and ICAR-Directorate of Floricultural Research, Pune.

In the inaugural session, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of innovation in the Agriculture sector and its translation to successful business ventures and networking among the institutes in the development of the agricultural and allied sectors today. Further, they stressed on Agri-startups offer critical solutions across the agricultural value chain in the form of a product, service, or application.
The Agri startup participants were briefed about RKVY RAFTAAR scheme at the workshop.
Workshop was attended by more than 75 participants. Some of the participants also presented their Innovative business ideas in this workshop.
The workshop was graced by Dr Kaushik Banerjee, Director, ICAR-NRCG, Dr Vijay Mahajan, Director, ICAR-DOGR, Dr K V Prasad, Director, ICAR-DFR participated in the workshop.
