ICAR- Central Citrus Research Institute Signs MoU with M/s Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. for Transferring STG technology

The ICAR - CCRI, Nagpur, Maharashtra signed an agreement with M/s Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., Jalgaon, Maharashtra for transferring technology on Shoot Tip Grafting (STG) of Citrus and lab to land transfer of micrographs here today.  

Dr. Dilip Ghosh, Director, ICAR-CCRI, Nagpur, and Dr. Anil Dhake, Senior Vice President (Agri R & D), JISL signed the MoU on the behalf of their respective organizations.

Dr. Ghosh said the partnership between ICAR-CCRI and JISL will benefit citrus growers of the Country.

ICAR-CCRI has standardized STG technology for the production of virus-free quality planting material of citrus and considering the huge demand, CCRI is also promoting the same technology through PPP Mode.
