An interaction meeting with an Agri-farm Machinery Service Provider under the Climate Resilient Agriculture (CRA) programme was organized today at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Lalganj, Buxar. These service providers were from selected villages of Harikishunpur, Dalsagar, Churamanpur, Balpur and Ramobaria of Buxar district.
The main objective of the programme was to make convenient and easy access to agri-farm machineries by the farmers to minimize the risk of climate change in adverse conditions through the use of agri-farm machinery.
Shri Dhirendra Kumar Mishra, SDM, Buxar, was the Chief guest of the inaugural program. He emphasized the judicious use of fresh water and minimum application of chemical fertilizers in agricultural crop production and cultivation of millet crops.
Dr. Deo Karan, Sr. Scientist-cum-Head, KVK, Buxar briefed about the KVK activities and achievements.
Shri Ramkewal, CCPI, CRA Programme, KVK, Buxar, elucidated the CRA programme and the role of Agri-farm machinery service providers in the CRA villages.
More than 70 farmers along with service providers participated in the programme.
