Capacity Building Programme on Rice Production Technology for MP Farmers

ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack organized a five-days Trainers’ Training Programme on “Improved Production Technologies for Enhancing Rice Productivity” during 18-22 October, 2016

Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Director, ICAR-NRRI briefed about the technologies and products developed by the institute for various ecosystems and stakeholders. Later, he urged all the participants to practice improved and proven practices over the age-old traditional practices to get higher yield and reduce cost of cultivation, more importantly in changing climate scenario.

About 20 Kisan Sathis/ Kisan Mitras/ ATMA BTMs from Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh participated.
The programme was sponsored by the ATMA of Sidhi district, Madhya Pradesh. Inaugurating the programme.
