35th Farm-Fest cum Flower, Fruit, and Vegetable Show organised

7^th – 9^th February 2025, Pune

ICAR-National Research Centre for Grapes actively participated in the 35th Farm-Fest-cum-Flower, Fruit, and Vegetable Show, a prestigious State-level event organized by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Puducherry at the Botanical Garden, Puducherry, from 7^th-9^th February 2025.

Agricultural institutions from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and other neighboring states primarily set up stalls to showcase their latest advancements and services for the benefit of stakeholders in the horticulture industry.

ICAR-NRCG showcased its grape varieties Manjari Medika, Manjari Kishmish, Manjari Naveen, and Manjari Shyama which attracted significant attention of farmers, students, and the general public. Seminars and trainings for farmers’ capacity building were also conducted during the show. 

About 4 lakh visitors, including farmers, students, and researchers, attended the 3-day event.
