Directors and VCs of ICAR Deemed Universities Meet to Discuss the Education Policy and its Growth

15^th January 2025, New Delhi

A meeting of the Directors and Vice Chancellors of ICAR Deemed Universities was organised under the chairmanship of Ms Alka Nangia Arora, Additional Secretary (DARE) and Financial Advisor (ICAR), to review the progress of implementing the New Education Policy 2020 and the higher education program at these universities.

The meeting was attended by Dr RC Agarwal, Deputy Director General (Education), ICAR Dr Triveni Dutt, Director, ICAR-IVRI, Dr Ravishankar C. N., Director, ICAR-CIFE, and Dr Dheer Singh, Director, ICAR-NDRI. 

Discussions focused on the future of higher education in ICAR’s Deemed Universities and the steps required to achieve full-fledged university status.
