Training-cum-Workshop on Fish Culture-cum-Horticulture

Shri Upendra Tiwari, Minister for Land and Water Resource (independent charge),  Govt. of Uttar Pradesh,  inaugurated training-cum-workshop on Fish Culture-cum-Horticulture (23-27 January, 2018) organised by ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow.

The objective of the programme is skill development of beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sichain Yojana (PMKSY) - Watershed Development, Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh.

Shri Chandra Prakash Tripathi, Secretary,  Irrigation and Water Resources Department of U.P. & CEO , U.P. State level land development agency briefed about the new initiative taken by Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Dr. K. K. Lal, Director, ICAR-NBFGR, briefed about the recent achievements and activities of the institute.
About 35 farmers are participating in the training programme.
