Training programme on Cage Culture for the farmers of Nandurbar, Maharashtra

cife-01-05022018.jpgICAR-Central Institute on Fisheries Education, Mumbai organized a Training programme on “Cage Farming” for the farmers of Nandurbar, Maharashtra under TSP during 18th to 20th January, 2018.

During field visit to Dimbhe reservoir participants interacted with Dimbhe community doing cage culture. They also learned how to calculate and feed the fish, monitor fish growth, clean cages and their maintenance etc.

 A total of twenty two participants participated in the training . Theoretical and practical output of Cage calling was covered in the Training program.
