Training on Sensitisation of Nodal Officers of KVKs

The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI), Zone - VI, Guwahati organized a one-day Training Programme for Sensitizing the Nodal Officers of District AgroMet Units (DAMU) under the Krishi Vigyan Kendras of ATARI Zone - VI, Guwahati at ICAR-CIFRI Regional Centre, Guwahati today.

During the technical sessions, Dr. Sanjay O’Neill Shaw, DDGM, RMC, Guwahati underlined observational system and network’s importance for AgroMet Advisory Services (AAS), disseminating the AgroMet Bulletins and their outreach.

Dr. A.K. Tripathi, Director, ICAR-ATARI Zone VI, Guwahati highlighted the ICAR and IMD’S latest initiatives taken for implementing the DAMU in the KVKs under the ATARI Zone VI.

The scientists of ICAR institutes and Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat attended the Training Programme.
