Training Programme on “Ready-to-Fruit Bags Milky Mushroom Cultivation” organized

The ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow organized one-day training programme on ''Ready to Fruit Bags Milky Mushroom Cultivation'' today.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Shailendra Rajan, Director, ICAR-Central Institute of Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow. Dr. Rajan underlined the nutritional and beneficial effects of milky mushroom.

The Principal Scientist, Dr. P.K. Shukla discussed about the milky mushroom’s production in the houses using the ready-to-fruit mushroom bags.

The main aim of the programme was to guide the people for cultivating the mushroom in their own houses.

The occasion also marked the distribution of ready-to-fruit mushroom bags to the interested participants.

More than 45 trainees including the retired government employees, women and young people participated in training programme.
