ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack organizes Orientation Programme for Newly Recruited Technicians

The ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack has organized a week-long Orientation Programme for Newly Recruited Field/Farm/Laboratory/Workshop Technicians at its campus from 22^nd July, 2019.

The Chief Guest, Dr. H. Pathak, Director, ICAR-NRRI outlined the importance of the Orientation Programme. He also urged the employees to incorporate the habits of punctuality, discipline, hardworking and sincerity in their routines in order to be a successful person in life.

In his special lecture on “ICAR-NRRI - Past, Present and Future”, Dr. Pathak highlighted the ICAR-NRRI’s salient achievements. He also stated about the ICAR-NRRI’s major contribution in the Green Revolution in the country and also its role in the development of the miracle Rice variety - IR 8.

Dr. S.D. Mohapatra, Principal Scientist & Co-Nodal Officer, HRD underlined the details of the week-long Orientation Programme schedule.

The various Heads of Divisions and other staff members of the Institute participated in the programme.
