MDP on Priority Setting, Monitoring & Evaluation concludes at ICAR-NAARM

The ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research and Management, Hyderabad organized the “7th Management Development Programme (MDP) on Priority setting, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) of Agricultural Research Projects” for the In-charges of PME Cell of ICAR Institutions from 18th to 23rd July, 2019.

The MDP comprised of modules on concepts and principles of prioritization, monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment of the agricultural research projects. The participants were provided with the hands-on training on the various software tools developed by the ICAR-NAARM for the project management.

They were also sensitized on the various metrics and tools used for measuring the individual and institutional research performance, global and national frameworks for measuring research efficiency and ICAR guidelines pertaining to the various functions of PME Cell like managing research publications, consultancy services and contract research, etc.

The Heads of PME Cell from 32 ICAR Institutions, nominated by the Director General of ICAR, participated in the programme.

Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM conferred the participants with the Certificates during the Valedictory Function.
