Training Programme on “Recent Bioinformatics Tools for Genome and Proteome Analysis” concludes

The Training Programme on “Recent Bioinformatics Tools for Genome and Proteome Analysis” organized by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad concluded today.

The main purpose of the programme organized from 17^th to 21^st September, 2019 was to provide the participants with an insight about the enormous potential and application of Bioinformatics and its tools management in the agricultural domain.

In his Valedictory address, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM emphasized on the bioinformatics’ importance in agriculture.

The participants were provided with the theory and hands-on practical sessions on various softwares and tools on the various topics related to the emerging requirements of bioinformatics tools and softwares used in the agriculture and allied sectors.

A total of 17 participants from various ICAR Institutes and State Agricultural Universities participated in the programme.
