HRD Week on "Skill and Competency Enhancement” at ICAR- NBFGR, Lucknow

A Human Resource Development Week on "Skill and Competency Enhancement” was organized at ICAR- National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow during 06-10 Nov., 2017.

Dr. A.D. Pathak, Director, ICAR-Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research, Lucknow and Dr. Kuldeep K. Lal, Director, ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow inaugurated the programme.

Dr. A.K. Vyas, Astt. Director General, HRM, ICAR was the Chief Guest of valedictory session .

A training manual as a ready reference for the participants from Skilled Support Staff category was also released during the valedictory function .

Apart from staff members from headquarters, those from PMFGR Centre, Kochi also through Skype and 09 scientists from the local ICAR institutes, ICAR-Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research and Central Institute of Subtropical Research attended the programme.

The programme emphasised on enhancing the skills and competency through need based lectures and hands-on exercises for all categories of staff members. A 3 day special training capsule was also designed and conducted for the Skilled Support Staff of the Bureau.
