Online Training Programme on Contemporary Education Technologies for Agricultural Education

The Virtual Training Workshop on “Contemporary Education Technologies for Agricultural Education” organized by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad from 8^th to 12^th June, 2020 concluded today. The workshop was organized for 20 Faculties (from 6 campuses) of Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

Highlighting the online teaching methodologies’ importance in the new normal situation, in his inaugural address, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM urged the participants for implementing the learning through E-learning Portal.

Dr. N. Trimurtulu, Dean, ANGRAU, Andhra Pradesh and Dr. S.K. Soam, Joint Director, ICAR-NAARM emphasized the importance of capacity building in online learning practices in the present times.

The workshop was aimed at catering the capacity building demands in the area of online educational practices and protocols, considering the challenges faced due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 scenario.

During the workshop, the participants were encouraged to utilize the online and digital learning platforms.
