Virtual Training Programme on “IPR, Copyrights, Industrial Design and Plagiarism” concludes at ICAR-NAARM

The five-day Virtual Training Programme on IPR, Copyrights, Industrial Design and Plagiarism” organized by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad for the staff of TANUVAS, Chennai from 22nd to 26th March, 2021 concluded today.

The Chief Guest, Dr. C. Balachandran, Vice-Chancellor, TANUVAS, Chennai stressed on the importance of IPRs. He also urged the faculty members for utilizing the learning of the training programme for the University’s benefits.

Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad emphasized on the need of innovations and IPRs in Indian agriculture.

The various aspects of Intellectual Property Rights, viz., Patent Laws, Copyrights, Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Role of IPRs in biodiversity and geographical indications, etc., were discussed during the programme.
