Virtual MDP on “Business Planning and Strategy Formulation for FPOs/FPCs” concludes at ICAR-NAARM

The Virtual Management Development Programme (MDP) on “Business Planning and Strategy Formulation for FPOs/FPCs” organized by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad from 5th to 9th July, 2021 concluded today.

In his address, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM urged the participants for utilizing the learning for developing their Farmers’ Producers’ Organizations to transfer the benefits of technological development and growing economy more effectively to the farmers.

All the aspects of FPO, right from mobilization of farmers, FPO formation & registration as Producers’ Company and Business Plan Development for FPOs like Business Model Canvass (BMC), market research, marketing plan, etc, were discussed during the programme. The participants were also apprised about the different regulatory compliances needed for the Producers’ Companies.

A total of 46 participants participated in the programme.
