Training Programme on “Scientific Practices of Pig Rearing” under SCSP organized

The ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa under the Institute Schedule Caste Sub Plan Programme organized a one-day Training Programme on “Scientific Practices of Pig Rearing” today.

The participants were demonstrated the various techniques like Castration in Piglet, Semen Collection from Boar, Artificial Insemination in Sow, Deworming and Vaccination in Pigs, etc., during the occasion./

A total of 7 participants from the different parts of Goa participated in the training programme.
