Training Programme on “Nonwoven Fabric from Natural Fibres: Production, Properties and Evaluation” organized

The ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology, Kolkata organized a three-day Virtual Self- Sponsored Training Programme on “Nonwoven Fabric from Natural Fibres: Production, Properties and Evaluation” from 27^th to 29^th October, 2021.

In his address, Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director, ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata apprised the participants about the significance of nonwoven and its rising application in the present times. He also under the Institute’s unparalleled contributions in the research of nonwoven from all kinds of natural fibres.

The programme was aimed at encouraging the awareness of non-woven fabric from natural fibre which may eventually lead to its wide range of industrial application.

A total of 29 participants from the various Universities, Research Institutes and Industries from across the country participated in the programme.
