“Virtual Entrepreneurship Orientation Programme on Medicinal & Aromatic Plants - IV” concludes at ICAR-DMAPR, Gujarat

The 21-day “Virtual Entrepreneurship Orientation Programme on Medicinal & Aromatic Plants - IV (EOPMAP - IV)” organized by the ICAR-Directorate of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants Research, Anand, Gujarat concluded today. The programme was organized in collaboration with the Directorate’s Medi-Hub TBI Agribusiness Incubation (ABI) Centre from 5^th to 25^th January 2022.

Delivering the valedictory address, Dr. K. Srinivas, ADG (Intellectual Property and Technology Management), ICAR highlighted the Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) Centres’ role in converting the idea into business in the Agricultural and Allied Sectors in India. He also regarded the Entrepreneurship development as the key for economic development of the country.

Dr. Satyanshu Kumar, Director, ICAR-DMAPR, Anand, Gujarat emphasized on the importance of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants for Enterprise development.

The Programme aimed at accelerating the Start-Up Business in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants registered participation by more than 67 participants.
