ICAR-CMFRI organizes ICAR-Winter School on “Recent Development in Taxonomic Techniques of Marine Fishes”

3 - 23 December, 2022, Kochi

The ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi, Kerala organized the Virtual ICAR-Winter School on “Recent Development in Taxonomic Techniques of Marine Fishes for Conservation and Sustainable Fisheries Management” from 3^rd to 23^rd January, 2022.

In his address, Dr. P. Krishnan, Director, Bay of Bengal Programme Inter-Governmental Organisation (BOBP - IGO-FAO) inaugurated the Winter School.

Dr. A. Gopalakrishnan, Director, ICAR-CMFRI, Kochi outlined the main objective of the Winter School.

The Senior Officials from the various Government Departments of the Government of India & Foreign Countries along with the Researchers from Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala also participated in the Winter School.
