ICAR-NRC on Meat organizes ICAR-Winter School

The ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad is organizing the ICAR-Winter School on “Obtaining globally recognized Certifications for ensuring Quality and Safety of Milk, Meat, Poultry & Fish and establishing Food Testing Laboratory” from 8^th to 28^th February, 2022.

In her inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Dr. G. Taru Sharma, Director, National Institute of Animal Biotechnology, Hyderabad urged the participants for efficiently utilizing the training period to update the knowledge and learn about the advanced food safety issues.

Dr. S.B. Barbuddhe, Director, ICAR-NRC on Meat, Hyderabad underlined the Institute’s journey in obtaining the NABL Accreditation, ISO/FSSC 22000 Certification, FoSTaC Empanelment and ASCI Accreditation.

A total of 20 Faculty Members from 10 different Universities and 1 ICAR Institute are participating in the event.
