“Workshop on Dairy Farming and Interface Meet” organized

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Washim, Maharashtra organized the “Workshop on Dairy Farming and Interface Meet” today.

Delivering the inaugural address, Dr. Rajendra Gade, Director (Extension Education), Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Maharashtra stressed on the importance of technical backstopping by both the Universities. He also urged for encouraging the women’s participation in the allied activities and formation of the farmers collectives through Farmers’ Producers’ Organizations in the Village.

Shri Gajananrao Deshmukh, Sarpanch of the Village presided over the event.

Earlier, in his welcome address, Dr. Ravindra Kale, Head, KVK, Washim highlighted the various programmes and activities implemented in the Village by focusing on the integrated farming system module.
