The two-week Virtual Training Programme on “Project Management & Research Methodology” organized for the Newly Recruited / Promoted Scientists of Indian Council of Forest Research and Education (ICFRE), Dehradun, Uttarakhand from 7th to 18th February, 2022 concluded today.

Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad highlighted the essential requirements of the Induction Programme on research priorities, methodologies, data analysis and science communication to the stallholders of the forest sector in India.
Dr. H.S. Ginwal, Dean, FRI University, Dehradun briefed about the main objective of the Induction Training Programme. Dr. Ginwal also applauded the ICAR-NAARM’s role in guiding the newly recruited Scientists.
Dr. .G Venkateswarlu, Joint Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad apprised the participants about the Academy’s capacity building activities.
The programme registered participation by a total of 26 Scientists from 8 Institutions under the ICFRE situated at Dehradun, Jorhat, Jabalpur, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Jodhpur, Coimbatore and Ranchi.
