Skill Development Programmes on “Double Roller Gin Setting & Maintenance and Cotton Quality Evaluation & Grading” concludes

The Two Skill Development Programmes on “Double Roller Gin Setting & Maintenance and Cotton Quality Evaluation & Grading” organized by the ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai, Maharashtra from 2nd to 5th March, 2022 at the Ginning Training Centre (GTC), Nagpur, Maharashtra concluded today.

Delivering the valedictory address, Dr. Sujata Saxena, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai stated that the skills learnt during the programme will increase the employability of the participants and help to improve their financial status.

Earlier, inaugurating the programme, the Chief Guest, Dr. B.S. Dwivedi, Director, ICAR-National Bureau of Soil Survey & Land Use Planning, Nagpur, Maharashtra regarded the programme as a perfect opportunity for the participants to learn about the Cotton Grading and Ginning from the highly experienced expert faculties of the country.

The programme was aimed at skilling-up the participants for the ginning and textile industries.

The Students from the Districts of Akola, Gondia and Bhandara in Maharashtra participated in the Skill Development Programmes.
