National Workshop on “Natural Farming for Sustainable Agriculture & Environment” organized @Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav

The ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Science, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh organized the National Workshop on “Natural Farming for Sustainable Agriculture & Environment” here today.

Delivering the inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Shri Vishnu Khatri, MLA, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh highlighted the importance of Natural Farming for the sustainable agriculture with reduced input costs and higher premium prices for the products.

Dr. Ashok K. Patra, Director, ICAR-IISS, Bhopal outlined the significance of Natural Farming for the soil health improvement under the future climate change environment.

The Workshop organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence registered participation by 250 Delegates including the Senior Officials of ICAR Institutes & State Agricultural Universities; Scientists & Staff Members of the Institute; Students, Research Associates; Senior Research Fellows and Progressive Farmers, etc.
