“Village Cleanliness Awareness Programme” organized @Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav

The ICAR-Indian Institute of Soybean Research, Indore, Madhya Pradesh organized a “Cleanliness Awareness Programme” at Arjun Baroda Village today.

The Institute is promoting its technologies and package of agronomic practices through the Mera Gaon, Mera Gaurav (MGMG) Programme in the Village.

The Committee consisting of the Institute’s Scientists and Technical Staff Members briefed the villagers about the “Agriculture, cleanliness and health in rural India”. They also urged not to make use of non-degradable materials that cause degradation of the natural resources.

Shri Meharban Singh, a Progressive Farmer of the Village applauded the Institute’s efforts for organizing such programmes for the farming community.

The Programme was organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence.
