In a significant stride towards advancing citrus cultivation practices, ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur, and Mahadhan Agritech Limited, Pune, sealed an agreement for contract research. The agreement marks the culmination of efforts initiated during the ICAR-CCRI Agro-industry Meet held on 11th -12th March 2024.
Dr. Dilip Ghosh, Director, ICAR-CCRI, highlighted the genesis of this Memorandum of Understanding during the Agro-industry Meet, where both parties laid the groundwork for collaborative research.
Dr. Prashant Puri, Head R&D, and Dr. Murlee Yadav, GM, Crop Manager, Mahadhan Agritech Limited, Pune, expressed their optimism regarding the partnership, emphasizing its potential to significantly benefit citrus growers nationwide.
Scientists of ICAR-CCRI and representatives from Mahadhan Agritech Limited were present during the event.
