NTRS, Garsa Appreciated for Uplift of Farmers

Dr. S. Ayyappan, Secretary, DARE and Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi visited North Temperate Regional Station (NTRS) of Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute (CSWRI), Garsa, Kulu, Himachal Pradesh on 16th October 2013.

Dr. Ayyappan appreciated the efforts being made by the scientists and staff members at the centre for development and propagation of fine wool sheep breed and Angora rabbit for economic upliftment of farmers. Dignitaries visited recently renovated research laboratories, office building, sheep and Angora sectors. Prof. J.B. Phogat, Head, NTRS, Garsa briefed about ongoing research and development activities related to sheep and Angora rabbit at the station.
