A 6-days training programme on “Manufacture of jute Handicrafts” under Agri Business Incubation (ABI) Project, ICAR-NIRJAFT, Kolkata was inaugurated at KVK, Mayurbhanj-I, Odisha on August 21, 2017.
Shri Dillip kumar Baxi, General Manager, DIC, Mayurbhanj, Chief Guest highlighted upon the government incentives available in setting up of agro-based enterprises.
Shri Malay Dwari, Soil Chemist, Guest of Honour briefed about the importance of training programme on jute handicrafts.
Sixteen women from Mayurbhanj district of Odisha associated with agro-based crafts work have participated in this programme.
