A capacity building-cum-field day was organized under Tribal Sub Plan of AICRP-STCR in collaboration with AICRP-LTFE centre of UAS , Bengaluru for tribal farmers of Hospod, Srinivaspura and surrounding hamlets of Chamarajanagara district, Karnataka.
The objective of the progrrame was to popularize the importance of soil test based balanced fertilizer application with Soil Test Crop Response approach among the tribal farmers,
More than 140 farmers participated in the event.
Soil health cards, ragi seeds and fertilizers were distributed with the support of Forest Department of Chamarajanara district and AINP on Underutilized crops.
