The ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi, Kerala organized the Virtual ICAR-Winter School on “Recent Development in Taxonomic Techniques of Marine Fishes for Conservation and Sustainable Fisheries Management” from 3rd to 23rd January, 2022.
In his address, Dr. P. Krishnan, Director, Bay of Bengal Programme Inter-Governmental Organisation (BOBP - IGO-FAO) inaugurated the Winter School.
Dr. A. Gopalakrishnan, Director, ICAR-CMFRI, Kochi outlined the main objective of the Winter School.
The Senior Officials from the various Government Departments of the Government of India & Foreign Countries along with the Researchers from Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala also participated in the Winter School.
