The ICAR-National Research Centre on Meat, Hyderabad signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jubilant Food Works Limited, Noida, Uttar Pradesh here today.

Shri Devendra Yadav, Vice-President & Head, Quality, Food Safety and Regulatory and Shri Rakesh Kumar Gupta, DGM, Quality & Food Safety, Jubilant Food Works Limited signed the MoU on the behalf of their respective Organizations.
Dr. S.B. Barbuddhe, Director, ICAR-NRC on Meat, Hyderabad underlined the importance of the improved shelf-life, enhanced safety and regulatory compliance to meet the Stakeholders’ requirements.
The Project is aimed to assess the existing Jubilant Chicken supply chain, developing packaging & processing interventions to increase the shelf-life of fresh and cooked Chicken Meat and benchmarking against regulatory standards.
The MoU is aimed at conducting the Contract Research “Studies on Extended Shelf Life of Chicken and Enhancing Post Cooking Quality and Safety”.
